It is recommended that you have your browsers
set to automatically check for the newest
version of the page. To do this, for instance on
Internet Explorer, go to the tools option in the
browser top menu and click on setting under temp
internet files. Check the auto setting under
check for newer version of this page. Click ok.
Now click on the advanced tab. Go down to
security and check the block that says Empty
Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is
closed. Click ok and that should do it. Your
browser will now automatically refresh the page
when viewed.

That
a hurricane undermined the foundation of the
original Sapelo Island Lighthouse in October
1898. But in September of 1905, a new
lighthouse—a 100-foot steel pyramidal tower with
a kerosene-lit flashing light—was activated.
Sapelo Island, a 16,500-acre island, is
Georgia's fourth largest and is situated about
sixty miles south of Savannah. It lies in the
center of coastal Georgia's well-defined chain

Services
The Auburn Police Department provides 24
hour support services for the citizens
and community as well for all police
department employees who are engaged in
their official duties. This includes
support for the Police Administration,
UPD, CID, Court Services, and Code
Enforcement. Citizens can reach
the support division by dialing

A Make-up of Patrol Units
The patrol units fall under the command of the
Uniform Patrol Commander. His division consists
of four, twelve hour shifts which take turns
working in two day increments with the exception
of the weekend, (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
when personnel work in three day increments
every other weekend.
The uniform division consist of an Alpha (A),
Bravo (B), Charlie (C), and Delta (D) shift with
a minimum of four department personnel working
per shift. The shifts are supervised by Sergeant
and consist of the Sergeant, patrol officers,
and support services personnel
