In the summer of 2006,
Professional Probation Services, Inc. (PPS) was selected to
provide private probation services for the City of Auburn,
Georgia. PPS has been providing professional services to
America's courts, communities, and offenders since the company began
in 1992. Recognizing that the government approach to probation

Currently, the PPS cases in
Auburn are being supervised through the Lawrenceville office by
Brian Feld. Brian is the manager of the office and has eleven years
of experience in the private probation industry with PPS. As an
employee with PPS, he has served as an office manager for the
Georgia State Court, Has been Vice-President of the Alabama
Operations, and most recently, Vice-President of the Utah
Operations. As a probation officer and office manager, some of his
duties include the following:

Actively supervises
approximately 50 cases from the City of Auburn

Ensures compliance of PPS
policies in the supervision of cases from both the City of
Auburn and the City of Lawrenceville

Acts as the primary liaison
between Court staff and PPS

Directly supervises three
probation officers and a clerical staff

Coordinates community
service work

Prepares all monthly and
quarterly reports for the Courts and the State
Brian received a B.A. degree
from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and was
commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves as a
combat engineer. Brian is supported in his mission to provide the
best private probation services in the industry by the corporate
staff, The Office of Standards and Training, the electronic
monitoring department, and the IT department.
