Your Acceptance
These terms of use and legal
restrictions govern your use of this
website ("Site"). Please read these
terms carefully before using the "Site".
Using the "Site" indicates that you
("User") accept
these terms fully. You also fully
understand that the Webmaster; the City
of Auburn Georgia; the Auburn Georgia
Police Department; its agencies;
officers; employees; agents; or
representatives ("Sponsors") can not be
held liable in any way from your use of
this site or held liable from any damage
your computer incurs resulting from the
use of this site. You also understand
that we may modify these Terms at any
time without notice to you by posting
revised Terms on our sites. Your use of
the "Site" constitutes your
binding acceptance of these Terms, including any modifications that
are made.
Purpose
The Auburn Ga. Police
Department Website was created and
designed by the Webmaster who is no
longer employed with the Police
Department. The Webmaster created this
site with permission of the Auburn Ga. Police
Department and/or it's agencies
representative for the purpose of
communicating general and public
information with "Users"
by electronic means via the Internet. The information
provided on this Website is intended to
allow the "Users" access to general and
public information generated by the
Auburn Georgia Police Department. While
every attempt has been made to provide
accurate, current, and reliable
information, the Webmaster and the
Police Department recognize the
possibility that human and/or
perfunctory errors can occur. The
"Sponsors"
do not guarantee in any way the
accuracy, reliability, or
confidentiality of any such
communications and can not be held
liable in any way when such errors
occur.
Not A 911 Service
This website is
not intended as a substitute or an
alternative resource to 911 service. If
you have an emergency, important crime
information, or need to speak with an
Officer, always communicate this
information with the Auburn Police
Department by dialing 911 on your
landline telephone or wireless device.

Our sites may contain links to other Internet sites owned by third
parties. Your use of each of those sites is subject to the
conditions, if any, that each of those sites has posted. We have no
control over those sites and we are not responsible for
any changes to or content on them. Our inclusion on the "Site" of any
third party content or a link to a third party site is not an
endorsement of that content or third party site.

responsibility for or liability related to them. Your correspondence
or related activities with third parties, including payment
transactions and goods delivery transactions, are solely between you
and that third party. You agree that the "Sponsors" will not be responsible or

any of your transactions with third parties. Any questions,
complaints or claims related to any product or service should be
directed to the appropriate vendor of those third party sites.
Use of
Emails
Although the e-mails can be
used to transmit information to members
of the Police
Department, it is highly recommended
that sensitive and confidential
information not be remitted over the
internet
as such information may be easily
intercepted. It is also understood by
the "User", that
due to the unreliable nature of Internet
communications, any information
transmitted to the Police
Department via electronic means may not
be received at all and if it is
received, may not be reviewed in a
timely manner.
Any communications made via this website
or through the websites’ e-mail system
shall in no way be deemed
to constitute legal notice to the
"Sponsors"
with respect to any existing or
potential claim or cause of action
against the "Sponsors",

policy.
